Electrical Engineering Society was initiated as a departmental student chapter of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology (SVNIT) in 2014 with a vision to work for the betterment and awareness of the field of electrical engineering. EES conducts various technical, managerial, and informal events throughout the academic year for overall development of students. EES also organizes numerous workshops on topics which will help in developing engineering skills amongst students and interactive sessions with well experienced people to provide proper guidance to students. We are also aiming to expand our vision for technical projects and knowledge sharing in this upcoming year.
Electrical Engineering Societyhosts AATISH, a techno-managerial festival. We strive for a student's total growth, in which the student is able to explore, learn, develop, innovate, and most significantly, enjoy doing so. AATISH was launched in 2015 with the goal of encouraging students to explore more about electrical engineering through the activities. AATISH comes with a series of technical, management, and informal events all focused on the same theme. The theme for AATISH-2021 was "Carnival," while the theme for AATISH-2019 was "Parallel Universe," and so on.

Working as the Publicity Head of EES has been a true learning experience for me. The beauty of EES culture is that no one is restricted to their positions, and once you're a part of the core committee, you can collaborate with other committees and work on some really creative stuff. Personally, I got a chance to lead the sophomores who were a part of the Publicity committee and also work with my peers and juniors on technical and creative aspects of the society's events.
EES holds a very close relation in my heart. I have witnessed its gradual development and I fell immensely proud to see the prosperous state that it currently is. I know the legacy of EES is strong and theres no denying to the heights it will achieve. Kudos to the team!
EES to me is a place full of happiness, cultural diversity, learning and many more. I would say that every individual of electrical engineering must somehow interact with EES whether it may be being a part of the ge club or by participating in the events because what i feel that EES provides such a great platform to show your caliber and at the same time no one is there to judge you infact they will all cumulatively support you. When you have such a place to work which allows you to express your thoughts then it is the best comes out of you. So my experience with EES was a lifetime memory experience and i had learnt a lot from here and would try to take it forward in my journey of life.I am very glad that you allowed me to put my thoughts in front of you all.. Well that's the favourite of EES for which it is known for.
EES has always been a child to be taken care of, nurtured and then making it fit for the adoption of subsequent committee. Our seniors dealt with the natal form and we manoeuvred the infancy. It taught us leadership, management, team work and many such skills which would have otherwise been just jargons to us. And now, knowing about the increased relevance of EES apostled by hard work of multiple committees, it's our time to be proud of the child.
